Warehouse In-charge

Run our stores: receive, store and issue every part, and send out every finished unit.

About the role

Everything that goes into a Taraxis motor passes through the warehouse, and every finished unit leaves from it. You keep the right parts in the right place, issue them to the line on time, and get orders out the door with the right paperwork.

You will lead the stores and packing staff and work closely with Purchase, Quality and Production.

What you will do

  • Receive material, check it against the purchase order and make the goods receipt in our ERP.
  • Send incoming lots to inward inspection and store only accepted material.
  • Store parts by bin location, first in first out, with safe handling for magnets and electronics.
  • Issue material to production against requisitions and kit lists.
  • Run daily cycle counts and monthly stock checks, and keep ERP stock correct.
  • Pack and dispatch finished units with invoices, delivery challans and e-way bills.
  • Lead the stores and packing staff and keep the warehouse safe, clean and in order.

What you bring

Must have

  • BSc in any discipline, or a higher degree.
  • 0 to 4 years of experience. Freshers are welcome.
  • Good with numbers and records, and comfortable with Excel.
  • Organised, dependable and able to lead a small team.

Good to have

  • Stores or warehouse experience in a manufacturing plant.
  • Experience with an ERP or Tally inventory module.
  • Knowledge of GST invoices, e-way bills and courier booking.
